1. About HabitBee

HabitBee (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a productivity application developed and operated by an individual developer based in India (Madhya Pradesh).

HabitBee is provided to help users manage productivity-related activities such as tasks, goals, habits, journaling, and personal organization.

2. Eligibility & Use

  • The App is intended for a general audience.
  • Users under the age of 13 should use the App only with parental permission.
  • You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.

3. User Account

  • You may be required to sign in using Google authentication.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Data & Responsibility

  • All productivity data you create (tasks, journals, goals, habits, etc.) is primarily stored locally on your device.
  • You are solely responsible for backing up your data.
  • Optional Google Drive backup is provided for convenience and is fully controlled by you.
  • We are not responsible for data loss caused by device issues, app deletion, or user actions.

5. Subscriptions, Payments & Refunds

Billing:
HabitBee offers optional paid subscriptions. All payments are processed exclusively through Google Play In-App Billing.
Subscription prices, billing cycles, and renewal terms are clearly displayed at the time of purchase.

Renewals & Cancellations:
Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled through your Google Play account settings. Cancellation stops future billing but does not provide a retroactive refund for the current billing period.

Refund Policy:
Refunds are handled by Google Play according to their standard policies (typically within 48 hours of purchase). Users should initiate these requests through their Google Play account.

Developer Policy:
HabitBee generally does not issue direct refunds for digital services already consumed or for partial billing periods. For technical failures or billing errors occurring after the initial 48-hour window, please contact our support team at habitbeehelp@gmail.com for review.

6. Advertisements

  • The App may display non-personalized advertisements via Google AdMob.
  • Ad content is controlled by Google, not by HabitBee.
  • We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or external links.

7. Third-Party Services

The App integrates third-party services, including but not limited to:

  • Google Firebase
  • Google AdMob
  • Google Play Billing
  • Google Drive API

We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their policies. Use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

8. Intellectual Property

HabitBee, including its design, features, branding, and code, is owned by us.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Misuse or attempt to disrupt the App
  • Reverse engineer or exploit the App
  • Use the App for unlawful or harmful activities
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data

10. App Availability & Changes

  • We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • We may suspend or terminate the App for maintenance, security, or legal reasons.

11. Disclaimer

  • HabitBee is provided “as is” and “as available”.
  • We make no guarantees regarding productivity outcomes.
  • We are not responsible for decisions made based on the App’s content or features.
  • Use of the App is at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • We are not responsible for data loss, device damage, or financial loss arising from use of the App.
  • Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the App in the last 12 months.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to the App if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • Required by law or platform policies
  • The App is discontinued

You may stop using the App at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
Any changes will be posted within the App or on the relevant policy page with an updated date.
